Name: Annie Reid Kirby Rhea Dates: Death date: February 21, 2010 Obituary: Mrs. Annie Reid Kirby Rhea, age 78 of Elizabethtown, KY., formerly of Simpson Co., KY., entered into rest Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Kensington Manor Nursing Facility in Elizabethtown, KY.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Harry Kirby and the late Isabel Byrum Kirby. She was preceded in death by her husband Wendell Boyd Rhea and a brother Ollie “Spudie” Kirby.
She is survived by 5 Brothers: Donald Kirby of Woodburn, KY., Bruce Kirby of Savannah, GA., Lindsey Kirby of New Richmond, OH., Brent Kirby and Louis Kirby both of Franklin, KY.; a special niece Belinda Cotter of Taylorsville, KY., and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Rhea was an active member of Severns Valley Baptist Church and a member of NARFE. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association. Visitation: 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 24, 2010 and from 6:00 A.M. until funeral service time on Thursday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. Service: 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. Cemetery: Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson County, KY. |
